New Post: Player uncovers new mini-quest in ‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ - https://lnkd.in/gh-TBGSG - One Baldur’s Gate 3 player has uncovered a new mini-quest by losing the most important items in the game.READ MORE: ‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ review: must-play fantasy rolls a critical hitSince it was first launched in August 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3 fans have slowly been uncovering a wide range of secrets, mysterious and quests across Larian’s open-world epic.The latest is a mini-quest that can only be started by losing the netherstones in a very specific way. The netherstones are regarded as one of the most important items in Baldur’s Game 3 and if they are somehow lost, players receive an instant game over. However, Larian has made it difficult to lose the stones. If they are dropped, they remain in the same spot until they’re retrieved while it’s impossible to throw the stones unless they’re placed inside another item like a crate.Discovered by YouTuber Proxy Gate Tactician and shared by PC Gamer, it turns out Larian created a mini-quest for any players that leave the netherstones in a location that can’t be accessed again. Proxy took to the underwater Iron Throne, which is accessible as part of timed quest but explodes after your first visit, and left the stones there.Rather than a game over, Proxy discovered the netherstones had washed up in the southeast docks of the Lower City, with players needing to either buy them from the Old Troutman, fight them from the Sahuagin or find them inside a dead fish.“I believe I have found content that no one else has ever seen in Baldur’s Gate 3,” they wrote on YouTube. “The way to pull it off is just so nonsensical that no normal person would ever come across it. Luckily for you, I’m not normal, and have shared these insanely hidden secrets for all to see,“ they added.The video also shows that if the netherstones are placed in the Steel Watch Foundry before it blows up, they’ll be rescued by a mob of Kobolds. Players then have five attempts to get the stones back before a Game Over is triggered.Last week, Larian confirmed they weren’t finished with Baldur’s Gate 3 just yet, despite work on an expansion and a potential sequel both being scrapped earlier this year. During the intimate performance, he played a reggae version of his solo track ‘You Do Something To Me’, before then breaking out a rendition of the title track from his 1993 album ‘Wild Wood’.It comes as Weller is embarking on his latest tour, and recently played a huge show at Edinburgh Castle.Check out fan-captured footage of the performance below.The surprise gig over the weekend took place after the Modfather released his 17th solo album, ’66’, back in May – the day before his 66th birthday.He described it as an LP that would see him delve into topics including “faith, changing circ*mstances and the fractured realities of life in this turbulent age” but at its core, boast a message of positivity and wisdom.Since then, he has also shared details of another tour across the UK, which will take place across the autumn.Kicking off in Cheltenham on October 17, the stint also includes stop-offs in Brighton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Llandudno, Liverpool and other locations throughout that month and into early November.The tour is set to conclude with a performance at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London on November 8.
